Word Wash Update: Charms and a Boss Round
A new version of the Word Wash browser demo with five round runs, charms you pick up between rounds, and a boss round.
I picked Word Wash back up after a long break and reworked a lot of it. You can play it in your browser on itch.io.
It’s now a run of five rounds. Each round has a score target, and you spell words by popping the letter bubbles before the clock runs out. Between rounds you pick a charm, which changes how some words score (double letters, no E, long words, that kind of thing). You can hold three.
Round five is a boss round with a random rule, like only long words counting.
The first round also has a new tutorial that walks you through spelling one word, since the old text version wasn’t doing much.
It’s still a demo and the numbers need tuning, so let me know how far you get.
